Pediatric Dentist Office With An Outer Space Theme
We recently had the opportunity to do this creative theme project for a pediatric dental practice. They wanted an outer space theme appropriate for children ages 3 to early teens. In coming up with an appealing design to please this wide age range, we didn’t want the feel to be too childlike, and at the same time, not too “out there” either. We had choices like a “Jetsons” or “Star Wars” feel, but decided to go with our own look not borrowing from any existing concept.
Our journey begins in the Flight Zone Waiting Area.
As you enter the suite you sign in at the Check In Desk made of dazzling plum colored metal and lime green solid surface counters.
When the receiptionist is not checking you in she returns to flying the ship at the Control Panel.
You may seat yourself at the Flight Zone Lounge where you can watch the stars circling overhead through the Skylight or gaze out the Viewing Window at the distant planets.

When it is time for take-off you pass through the Rocket Door Entry.
As you step through the Rocket Door Entry you enter the Space Corridor
Following the path through the Space Corridor you encounter a Friendly Alien similing back at you through the porthole.
As you continue on your way through the Space Corridor you pass by the Tooth Sickbay.
Along the Space Corridor you can look up and see the Space Moonroof.
As you continue your journey, you approach the Open Bay Friendly Planet, your final destination.
